This tourist destination witnesses visitors from around the world for the magnificent Hoysaleswara Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is surrounded by ponds, lakes and mantapas. The carvings of the thousand figures on the wall of the temple are stories of Ramayana & Mahabharata. A museum of the Archaeological Department is within the complex and the Parshwanatha Basadi with its polished pillars is close by.

Beluru – Halebidu – Yagachi (One Day Tour)
Belur and Halebidu are renowned as the “twin cities” of the Hoysala Empire, famous for their magnificent temples and intricate stone carvings. For tourists, they offer a journey into medieval history, art, and architecture, with Belur’s Chennakeshava Temple being a prime example of Hoysala architecture and Halebidu’s Hoysaleswara Temple being a masterpiece of a different style. These sites are a must-visit for history buffs and art lovers.
Tour Itinerary
9.00 AM to 11.00 AM Departure from Beluru City
- Start the day early and depart from Beluru city to Halebidu (Approximately 16 km, 30 min drive by Car)
- Visit the Halebidu Jain Temple, a 12th century temple dedicated to Parshvanatha
- Explore the Halebidu Hoysaleshwara temple, a UNESCO world heritage site and a masterpiece of hoysala architecture.
11.30 AM to 01.30 PM Beluru Channakeshava Temple
- Drive to Beluru (approximately 15 km 20 min by Car or Bus)
- Visit the Channakeshava Temple, a 12th century temple dedicated to lard Vishnu
- Explore the intricate carving sculpture and architecture of the temple with Guided (Kannada, English and Hindi) to learn more about the temple history and significance.
01.30PM to 02.30 PM Lunch Break
- Take a break for Lunch @Hotel Mayura velapuri Beluru
- Try some local cuisine
02.30 to 5.00 PM Yagachi Dam and Garden
- Drive to Yagachi Dam (Approximately 5 km , 15 min by Car)
- Visit Yagachi Dam and enjoy the scenic view of the surrounding landscape
- Explore the beautiful garden and take a leisurely walk
05.00 PM Return to Beluru
- Depart from Yagachi and return to Beluru city
- Visit Local market and shop for souvenirs or local handicrafts

- Hire Period –The car is hired for a specific period as agreed upon by the parties, Typically for local sightseeing
- Payment Terms – Hire charges are payable in advance
- Driver and Fuel -The car will be provided with driver, who will be responsible for fuel of the vehicle
- Use of Vehicle – The hirer shall use the vehicle only for local sightseeing purpose and hirer shall not allow anyone else to drive the vehicle without the prior permission of the owner.
- Waiting Charge / Time – The hirer shall be charged for waiting time, if the vehicle is required to wait for more than 30 minutes at any point during the tour.
- BATA – The driver bata (allowance) will be applicable as per vehicle category.
- GST– Above mentioned fare will be charged 5 % GST on bill
- Toll/Parking will be applicable on actual basis
- Rate -The rate are subject to change, and the hirer shall be informed of any changes in advance

- Amendment to reservation allowed only once and minimum 24 hours before check in date.
Please Note: Reservation once amended cannot be further amended or cancelled; also the amendment to reservation would be only for date and room type and shall include change of Hotel, within the KSTDC’s Mayura Group of Hotels.

Cancellation policy for hotel booking
- In case of cancellation before 10 days of the proposed date of check in – 5% deduction.
- In case of cancellation between 10 days and 72 hours before the proposed date of check in – 30% deduction
- In case of cancellation between 72 hours to 24 hours before the proposed date of check in – 75% deduction
- In case of cancellation 24 hours within the proposed date of check in – No refund.
